Bike Events in and Around Moab

Bike Events in and Around Moab

Hi friends! Are you ready to get your legs pumping and bike alongside some of the best views in the area this year? Check out some of these events in Moab and just over the border into Fruita, Colorado.

I’ve listed some of the larger events in the area for this year and to start thinking about for next year! I’m the kind of person who likes to set some goals and work towards a large event, and these would be perfect to consider. If Moab is a bit too far for you, it’s never too late to check out bike events near you, you might be surprised at what you find! Road bikers are everywhere and so many people train for triathlons each year too. If you're closer to northern Utah, check out Salt Lake City events. They have a huge mountain biking community up there. And if you're in Colorado, it’s worth checking out any events around the Rocky Mountains if you like elevation gain and huge quads. Honestly, everything out here has large elevation gains, but it makes the views even more worth it.

Each of the listings below have the link to the website, the dates, and the event name. I’ve also included some fun little tidbits about the courses and the miles and elevation to expect, so you know what you might want to gravitate towards. Happy cycling!

Collect your blown tubes! You are encouraged to collect your blown out bike tubes and recycle them with Moab Bag Co. You can turn in tubes to the front desk of Moab Made at 82 N Main St. You can also leave tubes on the back porch at the Moab Bag Co production house at 55 E 100 S and then grab some amazing kombucha next door.
